Installation is accomplished in less than a day. During the network analysis stage, the locations of equipment are identified and behavioral profiles of each phone are created. The SMB 1500 IP PBX and Executive IP Handsets are pre-programmed by Whaleback Systems, and they are deployed by a Whaleback Channel Partner.
The SMB 1500 is deployed at a pre-determined location and connected to the DSL or cable service, usually through an existing router. The installation engineer validates the system configuration and tests the service and the equipment. Executive IP Handsets are plugged into Ethernet jacks, and they automatically home themselves to the SMB 1500 IP PBX. Executive IP Softphones are loaded onto PCs and programmed for operation. Once the installation is complete, the installation engineer will conduct a brief training program to demonstrate the rich features of this managed service solution.
