Karil Reibold has extensive experience in managing rapid-growth venture-backed companies. Over the years, she has helped companies raise in excess of $300 million in venture capital and has worked on staff or as a consultant to venture funds in Silicon Valley and Boston. As an entrepreneur in residence for Norwest Venture Partners, she served as an operating partner assisting with numerous portfolio companies. Karil also served as CFO and Vice President of Finance and Operations for Annuncio Software, Inc. through its successful acquisition by Peoplesoft in January 2002. As a partner at David Powell, Inc. Financial Services, Karil worked with over 20 startups such as Netratings Inc. (NTRT), where she was acting CFO from inception through IPO. Karil has more then 20 years in finance and operations, extensive involvement leading the operations of startups in all phases of growth, and a broad knowledge of the high-tech industry. Wray West is an engineer at heart. He developed a reputation for knowledge and expertise by applying his talent at several different companies throughout his 20-year career, including Primary Rate Incorporated and Data General. Most recently, Wray served as vice president of systems engineering for Cedar Point Communications, where he oversaw the integration of company products into carrier operations. In addition, Wray helped the company develop next-generation switching equipment for cable system operators. Prior to joining Cedar Point, Wray was a co-founder and the chief technology officer of Indus River Networks, a leading developer of managed remote networking solutions that addressed the scalability, security, dependability and policy management requirements of large corporations worldwide. As CTO, Wray utilized existing and emerging technologies to fulfill customer and market needs. Wray holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc (IEEE). Melodye Mueller is responsible for developing, implementing and leading sales strategies across all channels. She creates and support sales processes and metrics to drive increased sales performance for Whaleback. Melodye has an extensive track record of success in strategic sales, new business development and channel management, and she has more than 20 years of voice and data industry experience working with customers ranging from the SMB market to global accounts. Before joining Whaleback, Melodye worked on independent consulting projects, including outsourced sales, RFPs through implementation for voice and data solutions and strategic business plans with financial models for a startup. She was also a Global Account Manager for AT&T/Lucent, where she developed the business case and strategy to successfully negotiate sole-source contracts. She also created strategic alliances and relationships to increase sales worldwide. Melodye holds a BSBA in Marketing and International Business from Bowling Green State University, where she also did MBA graduate work.  Ken Stess excels at building successful client relationships. His expertise spans the telecommunications, computer and software industries. As vice president and general manager of OEM Solutions for Lucent Technologies, Ken managed the operations of three global product divisions in the next-generation networking market. Earlier in his career, Ken served as vice president of sales for Excel Switching Corporation, a leading worldwide provider of open, programmable switching solutions. Most recently, he was the executive vice president of business development for General Fiber Communications, the cable industry's largest fulfillment provider. Ken holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Colorado.
